Agent-Based Framework for Self-Organization of Collective and Autonomous Shuttle Fleets

The mobility of people is at the center transportation planning and decision-making cities future. In order to accelerate transition zero-emissions maximize air quality benefits, smart are prioritizing walking, cycling, shared services public transport over use private cars. Extensive progress has been made in autonomous electric Autonomous Vehicles (AV) increasingly capable moving without full control humans, automating some aspects driving, such as steering or braking. For these reasons, investing infrastructure technology needed support connected, multi-modal transit networks that include (AV). relationship between traditional new spotlight need be rethought. This paper proposes an agent-based simulation framework allows for creation scenarios investigate impact modes on a city daily life.
